Thor helmets and comic strips.

Last Saturday was the date of my birthday party, which I was lucky enough to celebrate with some of the most wonderful and brilliant people on this earth. After running around the Disney store with Iron Man masks and Thor helmets (ok, that was only two of us...) and tracking down the very rare Hunger Games merchandise, we had a meal at TGI Fridays. That was a meal like never before. Seriously- I must be friends with the funniest people. If any of you are reading this; thanks for an awesome night!

Monday has become the night in which I spend all evening sat on my bedroom floor (No, really- it is actually very comfortable.) with the laptop and a drawing pad. Tonight, the idea of creating my own comic strip popped into my head. On the bus each morning I create scenarios in my head in time with the music, and since the release of The Avengers I have been processing ideas for my own Marvel- themed comic. Today I finally created a solid idea for my character, and that character goes by the name of Cyanide. In case you had not noticed, I am pretty obsessed with chemistry and all things CSI-related. I am currently drawing and typing this entry (I'm good at multitasking) and trying to piece together a more complex storyline. Photos and updates will be published soon.

Jotunheim

I have found my dream holiday destination. Yes, it is mainly because of the name. For those of you who don't know me personally or are unaware of my obsessive love for Thor and all things mythological, Jotunheim is a place featured in the stories and films of Thor and, as I discovered recently, is an actual region in Norway.

It looks like such a beautiful place with the mountains and the greenery...

Now time to persuade the rest of the family to consider going on holiday here in a few years.

"Is this not your natural state? It's the unspoken truth of humanity that you crave subjugation. The bright lure of freedom diminishes your life's joy in a mad scramble for power. For identity. You were made to be ruled. In the end, you will always kneel."

"Your ledger is dripping, its gushing red, and you think saving a man no less virtuous than yourself will change anything? This is the basest sentimentality. This is a child at prayer- pathetic. You lie and kill in the service of liars and killers. You pretend to be separate, to have your own code, something that makes up for the horrors; but they are a part of you, and they will never go away."

As the title suggests, my obsession with Loki has increased. Dramatically.

He has some of the best lines in the entire film (Yeah, I got round to seeing the Avengers- BRILLIANT FILM.)

So, I won't bore you with any details, and I also wont ruin the film for those who have not seen it.

On Saturday night, I decided to paint my nails in a Avenger themed design. I really suck at nail art, so they aren't that great...
