Deductions

I finally did my first deduction today! I finally got around to trying a deduction on the bus this morning as the bus driver got lost and took the longer route, and I was bored.
A woman around 19/20 got on the bus and stood opposite me against one of the poles. She had long pink nails, a pink iPhone case, pink lipstick and a pink bag. I made the obvious assumption that she likes the colour pink. I also 'deduced' that she had a small white dog, possibly a terrier or chihuahua of some sort, as her black coat was covered in small white hair on the lap/chest area, suggesting the dog is small enough to be carried around.  She was presumably staying over somewhere, as she also had a large black checked bag as well as the pink one. Her Westwood bag and earrings and Ugg boots suggested she has a love for designer items and enjoys being 'fashionable'.
So yeah- all that was discovered on the bus without making eye contact with her or being obvious. I was pretty pleased with myself for being observant for once in my life. Whether the ideas are true or not is a different story, but I have statistics course work that needs completing, and the buisness conference and trip to Italy won't help as they mean I'll be 5 hours behind. Great. Bye for now...

  1. Okay. This is the last time today I'll bother you, promise.

I'd just like to say I'm doing the exact same thing. My friend and I just had great fun deducing the crap out of the waitress at our restaurant last night. (She was new. She'd just come from McDonald's, it was obvious by her language.)

I think if nothing else, I have the calculating glance down by now.
