Generation of the brain dead.
Lately I have been questioning the sanity of everyone around me, myself included sometimes. When you sit at the back of a classroom and don't make a sound, you hear every conversation happening in the room at that moment in time. In art yesterday there was a bunch of girls who constantly talked about who'd lost their virginity and what make up they were wearing. One even thought OCD meant Obsessive Cleaning Disorder. The same problem occurred today in Chemistry as everyone around me was talking and I couldn't hear a thing the teacher was saying. He was giving instructions and rules regarding our ISAs and demonstrating how to do the experiment safely, and I didn't catch a word of it. I'm silently screaming inside. I'm sorry for venting my anger on here, but all of the girls I mentioned have me on facebook, and 140 characters on twitter is not enough. At times like these I'm glad I don't have bright orange skin, skirts that look like belts, fake friends and the problem of deciding which party to go to. I'd rather spend my weekends and nights sat alone reading. Social interaction is hard when all your friends are in a different form.

Social interaction is hard when everyone else is an idiot.
ReplyDeleteAlthough, since OCD sufferers do tend to clean everything obsessively, I think that mistake can be forgiven.
And there's no such thing as sanity.
