The first challenge of the day was trying to find a cinema that was still showing War Horse. I did find one, but it was a train ride away. The film was excellent, which made up for the long journey there and back. I have to admit; I cried. A lot. When I was 6 I started horse riding and continued the sport for 5 years until I moved up to high school, so I guess that's why I cried so much. I always seem to have an emotional connection with horses in films, and basically every other fictional character out there. When I left the cinema, a man was stood with his wife in the corner and was trying to convince her that one of the generals was the modern day Sherlock Holmes.
I had my " I am SHER locked" t shirt and Harry Potter scarf on, so I received a lot of strange looks in the foyer.
